Critical Operational Notice
STAR ERP is an automation helper utility. It is not a licensed financial advisory service, a certified tax consultant, or an audited accounting firm. The metrics generated by our payroll and financial modules are based directly on parameters set and data inputted by your system administrators.
1.No Financial, Legal, or Certified Tax Advice
While our Financial Suite automates bookkeeping, ledger reconciliation, balance sheet generation, and tax-bracket estimations (such as PPh calculations or regional VATs), these tools are meant to serve as raw calculations. They should not substitute professional onsite reviews, legal evaluations, or audits by registered Certified Public Accountants (CPAs). Corporate subscribers are solely responsible for ensuring all financial output aligns with prevailing national tax laws and financial compliance structures before reporting to state bodies.
2.Payroll Configuration & Labor Law Responsibility
STAR ERP allows administrators to configure dynamic salary structures, overtime formulations, social security benefits (BPJS), and shift allowances. We assume zero liability for payroll calculations that conflict with regional employment agreements, labor union guidelines, or federal labor laws. It is the sole responsibility of your Human Resource department to verify that payroll algorithms configured in the HRMS suite mirror your legal employment terms.
3.Data Integrity and “Garbage-In, Garbage-Out”
Because STAR ERP acts exclusively as a secure data processor, the reliability of all business intelligence (BI) visual reports, dashboard projections, inventory alert levels, and audit trail records depends 100% on the accuracy of the data entered by your workers. We are not responsible for business decisions, lost procurement values, or stock-outs caused by manual user-input errors, false ledger bookings, or compromised device inputs.
4.Platform Availability & Cloud Limitations
While STAR ERP is deployed on enterprise-grade, high-availability cloud servers protected by multi-tenant security layers, we do not guarantee uninterrupted, 100% server uptime. System access may be temporarily delayed or suspended due to unexpected database load spikes, telecommunication carrier failures, DNS routing errors, or scheduled system upgrades. We are not liable for operational disruptions, delayed payroll processing, or temporary inventory blindness during brief server maintenance windows.
5.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Setapak Langkah (STAR ERP) and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages. This includes, without limitation, loss of business revenue, lost operational profits, commercial data leaks caused by compromised user passwords, or supply chain bottlenecks arising out of the use or inability to use the platform.
